The Make An Impact Podcast

Sep 21, 2020

One of the first things you need to do when starting a non-profit, business, social impact initiative, or anything new is determine how you’re going to put it into the world. Which means, how are you going to brand it? What tone are you using? What color scheme matches the vibe? What’s the best communication style to use for which social media platform?

Tianna Vanderhei served as Miss Wisconsin 2018, is a former TV news reporter, podcast host, coffee addict, and overall boss babe. Throughout all of the hats she has worn in her life, she has developed an expertise in social media, marketing, and communications. I was so grateful to sit down with her to discuss the dos and don’ts of social media marketing, her method of where to start when developing a new branding strategy, how she was able to market herself when getting new sponsors for the Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Organization, and so much more.

I am beyond thrilled to have her as our resident branding and social media expert - and I know you will be too after hearing today’s episode! To find and connect with Tia, find her on Instagram at @tiannavanderhei and follow along with her podcast, The Grit Behind the Glitz (@gritbehindtheglitz)!
